LAND Rover has rolled out a raft of updates for the popular Range Rover Evoque, with a focus on new equipment and technologies fitted, as well as sharpened styling.
Despite being most compact SUV in the Range Rover line-up, the Evoque is now kitted out with similar tech to its larger stablemates. A new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen Pivo Pro2 system dominates the centre console and includes Amazon Alexa control as well as full digital control over key vehicle functions.
It forms a large part of a much cleaner centre console and dashboard design, including a new gear selector, as well as new materials available for the interior upholstery; one of which is Kvadrat – a wool blend fabric that’s an alternative to leather and the only model in its class to offer customers the option.
Other improvements include wireless phone charging now fitted as standard, new pixel LED headlights, tweaked design details front and rear, and extra bright rear lights for improved visibility and reduced glare in poor conditions.
For small business owners and CEOs of SME companies, the Range Rover Evoque can be an ideal company car. Swish, expensive, but not too flashy, and with company car tax on the PHEV version at only 12% until 2025 thanks to an electric-only range of up to 39 miles, it’s also cost effective.
The Range Rover Evoque P300e PHEV also features standard DC rapid charging to top up the battery from 0-80% in as little as 30 minutes. Charging on AC points will take around two hours. Other models make use of mild-hybrid petrol and diesel powertrains.
Other technologies fitted include 3D surround view and ClearSight Ground View and Rear View using cameras about the vehicle, and there are over-the-air updates available to improve systems remotely, without the need for going in to a workshop.
Connected car systems using the Remote app can control a variety of systems from a smartphone, checking vehicle status updates, remotely locking/unlocking the car, and pre-conditioning the cabin, with EV system controls also available for PHEV models.
A new colour palette now includes Arroios Grey, Tribeca Blue, and Corinthian Bronze, with Narvik Back and Corinthian Bronze contrast roof colours available. There are a total of eight alloy wheel designs to pick from too, with sizes up to 21-inches.
Leasing customers are able to order new Range Rover Evoque models now, with OTR prices starting from £40,080.
