ALPHABET International – the holding company of Alphabet in Great Britain – has appointed a new CEO: Markus Deusing.
Markus (pictured above, left) steps up from his Chief Commercial Officer role to take the top appointment at the BMW-owned leasing and mobility company from January 2022.
Meanwhile former Alphabet International CEO, Marco Lessacher (above, right), moves to BMW Group Financial Services where he will take responsibility for global sales activities as the new Vice President Customer, Brand and Sales.
Commenting on his appointment, Markus said:
The industry is currently in a major change process – and change is an essential part of Alphabet’s DNA – that makes it even more exciting. With a strong team and a clear strategy, we can help our customers build a better future around mobility.
Markus started his career at BMW Group in 2005 and has held various management functions in Germany since then, most recently as CCO of Alphabet International.
The change at Alphabet International mirrors the changes at the UK subsidiary, where Mike Dennett (left) takes over as CEO of Alphabet from January 2022.
