CONGRATUALTIONS to Colin Paterson who has been appointed to the newly-created role of Corporate Marketing.
Colin, an experienced safety specialist, joins the business after spending nearly five years as Head of Marketing at AA Drivetech.
RED says his appointment reflects significant business growth over the past year, offering driver training, licence acquisition, compliance processes and risk management to corporate clients across car, van and truck fleets.
I’m delighted to join RED at such an exciting time – the brand has huge ambitions in the corporate driver market and it’s clear with the growth in the past year there is a lot of hunger for training. The fleet sector is undergoing huge changes, with the transition to electric, the advent of autonomy and issues to manage such as the cost of fuel and driver shortages. I hope my experience in the sector can help develop RED’s offering and give firms the training tools to navigate these issues.
Colin Paterson, Corporate Marketing, RED
As well as spending several years working at AA Drivetech, Colin was also Director of Marketing and Communications at IAM RoadSmart, and established the marketing department at TRACKER.
This appointment comes at an important time, not just for RED but for drivers as a whole. The demands of more technology, electrification and increased congestion mean that having safe drivers behind the wheel is more important than ever. Despite these changes we believe, as always, the driver is the difference.
