Say hello to…
…the new Peugeot e3008 is a mid-size SUV that’s available now in all-electric form with a 73kWh battery and a 213hp motor powering the front wheels. Official range is quoted as 318 miles. Peugeot will also offer the e3008 with all-wheel drive (and the same battery) or with a 98kWh battery and 213hp motor for greater range plus (without the ‘e’ on the front of the name) as a petrol powered car. And to cap things off, there’s also a PHEV version. We’ll concentrate on the 73kW e3008.
The latest generation is now sharper looking and more svelte than before, losing the last of the MPV looks of the first generation 3008.
The e3008 is available in two trim levels.
- Allure
- GT
Standard equipment on the Allure includes dual zone climate control, keyless entry and start, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, 21-inch infotainment screen and driver’s display, drive modes and 19-inch alloys.
GT adds front parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, powered boot lid, heated front seats and 20-inch alloys.
Is The Peugeot e3008 Suitable For My Fleet
Electric SUVs are core to the fleet user chooser market. The e3008 has an reasonable real-world range of just more than 240 miles in the summer. This would drop in colder weather, but the efficiency varies hugely between motorway driving (when the e3008 records low 3s for miles per kWh) and town driving when we typically saw mid 4s for m/kWh.
With motorway range not that impressive, a faster maximum charge speed would be welcome, but the e3008 comes in at a market average 160kW.

Driving A Peugeot e3008
Peugeot’s styling has been on point for a few years now and the e3008 is the latest in the range to gain the edgy looks and classy front end. But what’s even more striking is the cabin and dashboard.
Peugeot’s designers have given the e3008 interior a premium look and feel that’s attractive and functional. The small steeringwheel with digital instrument display sited above, work well. And the main infotainment touchscreen is clear and simple to use. We’ve said it before with other Stellantis products using this system; the manufacturer has shown it is possible to make the lane-keeping and speed warning chimes easy to turn off and not have them hidden several layers deep in the menu system.
The driving position is good, but for taller drivers the seat could do with a longer (or adjustable) base for better support and there could be a touch more reach to the steering column, but these are minor points.
Rear seat space is fine for kids, but taller adults will find their heads rubbing on the sloping roofline. The sloping line to the back of the e3008 doesn’t reduce the boot space, which at 588 litres is generous. The boot also has a false floor to allow for flat loading and keeping some items hidden away.
On the move, the e3008’s suspension is set on the firmer, sportier side in terms of comfort and handling. While this suits the car’s image, on UK roads and for what is essentially a family car, it can draw complaints from passengers over bumps and imperfections in the road surface.
Peugeot doesn’t offer one-pedal driving on the e3008, but the blend of regen and physical braking is undetectable and the car is easy to drive smoothly.
