THIS month’s CV Show 2022 will see Toyota will showcase its entire range of Toyota Professional models – the Japanese firm’s most extensive presence at the industry event to date.
The line-up is set to include the new Hilux GR Sport, which makes its UK debut, and the production-ready Corolla Commercial, a new car-derived van that has been developed and built in the UK.
Several of the displayed vehicles will show available accessories, liveries, and other features featured and fitted at Toyota Manufacturing UK in Burnaston. On display will be the new Corolla Commercial in a “blue light” specification suitable for emergency services.
Inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing’s success in 2019 and 2022 in the famous Dakar Rally, the Hilux GR Sport is available to order now and features a dedicated suspension system, 17-inch alloys with all-terrain tyres, sports seats and styling details, fitted to a double-cab specification model.
The Corolla Commercial is the UK and Europe’s first conventional hybrid van, based on the Corolla Touring Sports estate, with conversion work carried out in Derbyshire.
With a payload of 465kg available, and featuring a flat-floor, rubber-lined load space, the Corolla Commercial is capable of towing loads up to 750kg.
Other models will include the Toyota Proace Electric and Proace City Electric eLCVs, the Land Cruiser Commercial, and blue light versions of other Toyota Commercial models. The Toyota Professional range will be at the CV Show 2022 from 24th-26th May.
