LEASING company Novuna Vehicle Solutions is to deliver salary sacrifice to Royal Mail’s 120,000 employees, providing them access to electric vehicles (EVs). This landmark deal, one of the largest company car salary sacrifice schemes in the UK, aligns with Royal Mail’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2040.
The partnership will provide Royal Mail employees with a wide range of new and used EVs through a flexible salary sacrifice scheme, making low-emission vehicles more accessible and affordable.
Royal Mail employees will receive comprehensive support in transitioning to electric, including a bespoke EV Hub, an innovative ordering portal, and even home charger installation options. Bespoke insurance from Howden Insurance UK is also part of the salary sacrifice package.
Used EVs: A Cost-Effective Route To Electric Mobility
The partnership will leverage used vehicles, offering a cost-effective way for employees to embrace electric mobility. Novuna Vehicle Solutions said that this aligned to its commitment to providing end-to-end decarbonisation leasing options.
Jon Lawes, Managing Director at Novuna Vehicle Solutions (main picture), commented:
“This appointment validates our ability to deliver large-scale salary sacrifice solutions. We’re dedicated to providing innovative options that help organisations like Royal Mail achieve their sustainability goals while empowering their workforce.”
“As the transition to sustainable transport accelerates, accessible options for employees are crucial. This program demonstrates our shared vision for low-emission mobility, and we’re excited to collaborate with Royal Mail to enhance EV accessibility for all their employees.”
The salary sacrifice partnership with Royal Mail is another significant win for Novuna Vehicle Solutions. It follows recent deals with Wickes, Saint-Gobain UK, and Quooker.
