SOGO mobility has gone in to bat for Middlesex County Cricket Club.
The flexible lease provider is partnering with the Lord’s based team to provide a range of vehicles on a range of timescales.
SOGO says this means that overseas players can access a vehicle even if they are only in the UK for a few weeks.
Among the electric vehicles which the Middlesex players can access are the Polestar 2 and Audi e-Tron while more traditional petrol and diesel models are also available. Mileage from these vehicles will be carbon offset with the BP Target Neutral Programme.
Commenting on the agreement, Laura Angus, Middlesex’s Commercial Director, said:
SOGO is an ideal fleet partner for our club. It means that international players can drive a new vehicle even if they are only with us for part of the season. The ease of ordering a new vehicle sets SOGO apart.
Middlesex County Cricket Club was founded in 1864 and is one of the most successful and well-respected first-class counties in the English domestic game. The club has played at the Home of Cricket, Lord’s Cricket Ground, in St John’s Wood, since 1877.
Karl Howkins, Managing Director of SOGO, said:
We built our business around offering businesses of all sizes the flexibility they need to operate efficiently. Our partnership with Middlesex Cricket will mean they can give their players access to a wide range of new vehicles, and be assured that they get the service they deserve.
