LEASEPLAN will showcase the ground-breaking Arrival electric van at the EV Summit, which takes place at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, from 01-02 September.
The leasing company will have a strong presence at the leading industry event around decarbonisaiton, as LeasePlan’s UK Director, Alfonso Martinez, will also be speaking on the Sustainable Fleets panel.
Now in its fourth year, the EV Summit gathers together a number of the world’s leasing e-mobility leaders. With 10 panels across two days, the summit tackles the core business issues in the e-mobility market.
Earlier this year, LeasePlan was announced as the preferred leasing partner for Arrival electric vehicles. An initial order of 3,000 vans kicked-off the partnership, and the deal is expected to progress in Q3 this year.
Based in Oxfordshire, Arrival has an innovative approach to electric commercial vehicles, and will rapidly become a familiar sight on UK roads, thanks in no small part to the agreement in place with LeasePlan.
Ade Thomas, co-founder of the EV Summit, said:
“LeasePlan and Arrival are two global leaders in e-mobility, and I’m delighted to have them both involved in the EV Summit, in the form of the new LeasePlan Arrival electric van.”
The Arrival van, complete with full LeasePlan signwriting, will be available for summit attendees to look around and discover more about on both days.
