TIM Laver is appointed Managing Director of what will be the new Ayvens business when it launches in October.
Ayvens is the new name for the combined ALD Automotive | LeasePlan UK leasing company. Laver replaces Alfonso Martinez who is retiring.
Laver steps up from his role as Managing Director of ALD Automotive UK – a role he has held since 2019 – and as Deputy Managing Director of the combined ALD | LeasePlan business.
Tim has nearly 20 years of experience within ALD Automotive, where he previously served as the Director of Finance and Risk. Tim’s career also includes roles as an Internal Auditor at Arval – BNP Paribas Group and as an Auditor at Ernst & Young.
A statement by ALD Automotive on LinkedIn said: “Tim’s appointment comes at a particularly exciting time for our company as we prepare for the upcoming launch of our new combined entity brand, Ayvens, in October.”
Alfonso Martinez retires having led the combined ALD Automotive | LeasePlan since July 2023 and the LeasePlan UK business from 2019.
Before joining the UK team, Alfonso served as Chief Financial Officer of Spain before becoming Managing Director of LeasePlan Italy six years later in 2012.
