CONGRATULATIONS to Paul Hollick (pictured above) who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of fleet technology specialist Lightfoot.
Hollick steps from his Managing Director role as the business gears up for European expansion. He replaces Rupert Lyon Taylor who takes on the role of Chief Customer Officer.
“I am delighted to be made CEO at what is an immensely exciting time as we roll out ambitious plans to expand the Lightfoot business, and take our innovative decarbonisation and safety proposition internationally. Businesses across Europe take decarbonisation and safety very seriously and we know our innovative offering will provide fleet operators with the data and insight to build safer and more efficient vehicle operations.”

Commenting on the change, Rupert added: “I have decided that now is the time to take a step back from the CEO role and am delighted that Paul will take on the new position. I remain part of Lightfoot’s executive team as Chief Customer Officer where I will be putting my efforts into looking after everyone who has put their faith in our product.
“Paul has been with us for three years and led the new business sales, product, marketing and growth teams as well as being part of the executive leadership. He knows our business very well, but he also knows the sector incredibly well through his role as Chair of the Association of Fleet Professionals, and extensive senior management roles at other businesses within the fleet sector.”
Rupert has been with Lightfoot since 2017, supporting founder Mark Roberts to grow the business before receiving investment from Volpi Capital in 2021, at which point the firm brought in Paul as Managing Director and Neil Warman as Chief Financial Officer.
Elsewhere, Andrew Betteley has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer, making permanent the interim role he had been fulfilling since the summer of 2024. Andrew has a long career working within automotive technology and has been brought into the business to support and streamline Lightfoot’s engineering and development processes.
