THERE will be a new man in the hot seat at Audi UK from the beginning of October: José Miguel Aparicio.
José will be the new Director of Audi UK taking over from Andrew Doyle, who departs after seven years leading the Audi Brand to take on the leadership of a car dealer group in his native Australia.
Aparicio joins Audi UK from Volkswagen Group Spain, where he has held the role of Audi Brand Director for the last six years. He has also been Director of Škoda and Sales Director of the SEAT brand in Spain.
He has over 26 years’ experience within the industry, having started his career with Ford Motor Company in Spain in various sales and aftersales positions. Before joining the automotive industry Aparicio studied mechanical engineering in both Paris and Madrid.
José Miguel joins the team at an extremely exciting time for the Audi brand as it prepares to embed key new products such as the Q6 e-tron and embraces new technology and customer-centric innovations. I’d like to thank Andrew for his contribution over the past seven years; he leaves Audi in a strong position and number three in the UK sales charts. I know José Miguel is looking forward to building on this success.
