LEASING and fleet management company Holman UK, has appointed Nick Hay as its Managing Director, effective 08 June 2026.
With a strong track record of driving growth and building high-performing teams across the automotive and logistics sectors, Hay joins Holman as the company looks for a more aggressive stance in the sector.
Hay has more than 30 years’ experience in logistics, having served as Managing Director of Samworth Brothers Distribution, Chief Executive Officer of Fowler Welch for 10 years and, most recently, CEO of supply chain specialist Gist.
Following Nick Caller’s promotion to Holman’s global headquarters in the USA, Rick Tousaw, Executive Vice President – International Operations, has overseen the UK business during a planned leadership transition, with David Hunt serving as Interim Managing Director ahead of Hay’s appointment.
Tousaw said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick to Holman UK at an important stage in our growth journey. I also want to personally thank David for his leadership and steady guidance during his time serving as Interim Managing Director. His impact on the business, our Partners, and our continued progress has been meaningful.
“As part of that transition, David will return to his role as Chief Operating Officer, where he will continue to support our large corporate clients and work closely with Nick to maintain continuity and momentum across the business.”
Hay has spent his career at the heart of fleet operations, including overseeing in-house vehicle maintenance units at both Samworth Brothers and Gist.
“Holman helps businesses understand their fleets more clearly and run them more effectively and efficiently. Central to this is bringing together every part of the operation, from buying and selling to driving and servicing,” said Tousaw.
