WITH dramatic roadster styling, the theatre of scissor doors, and lightning electric performance, the MG Cyberster is poised to be some car.
It’s the sort of car that Managing Directors of small and medium sized companies can drive without the Finance Director getting fractious: it’s electric and good value. A £55k price tag has been suggested.
The Cyberster blasts MG back to its sportscar roots is this pre-production prototype that was unveiled at the MG Motor UK headquarters in Marylebone, London recently.
Advanced Design Director Carl Gotham and his Marylebone team – who played a key role in creating the Cyberster – revealed the model for the first time.
Removing the covers, Carl commented:
It is a special moment for all of us who have played a part in designing this unique car. The Cyberster will offer MG customers a striking, all-electric roadster which will be as exciting as MG sports cars of the past.

According to Gotham, the Cyberster’s stand-out styling draws inspiration from MG’s heritage, with signature design highlights including a distinctive long bonnet, low nose and curvaceous surfaces.
So if this car sounds about right for you to run around in, then start softening up the FD for a summer 2024 launch. If this stunning MG drives like it looks, the roadster will be an amazing drive.
