SME fleets of up to 50 vehicles can now take advantage of a new portal opened by Volvo to access cars with business-direct pricing.
Called Volvo Fleet and Business Online, the portal allows SME fleets to order and fleet manage vehicles in what Volvo says is a first for a major UK car maker.
You can choose your Volvo with offers via the company’s Care by Volvo subscription packages: either choose a standard fixed monthly payment 36-month agreement, or go for the flexible option (more expensive) which allows you to swap vehicles or opt out with three months’ notice.
The vehicle grid (pictured above) makes it easy to choose your desired Volvo. Typical prices for the pure electric SUV model over 6000 miles a year, with maintenance and tyre replacement included (no insurance) and initial rental are:
- Volvo XC40 Recharge Ultimate – £639.20 + VAT fixed contract
- Volvo XC40 Recharge Ultimate – £743.20 + VAT flexible subscription
Benefit in kind company car taxation is clearly displayed to help with the decision process as are lead times which are particularly crucial at the moment.
Volvo says the portal has been designed to help both fleet decision-makers and company car drivers. Currently only fleet managers can use it but it will be expanded shortly.
Fleet and Business Online also provides a direct link to the Volvo Car Business Centre to provide special or additional help.
