BYNX has updated its fleet and leasing management platform with a software update.
The latest version from the global software provider is version Bynx 12.13 and includes important technology stack changes and an update to the Oracle 19c database.
The updated software will enhance innovations in data optimisation and diagnostics, says Bynx, enabling users to achieve better operational, analytical and workload performance.
In particular, there is improved functionality and a better user experience in several key areas, including commercial fleets, fleet maintenance and reporting capability.
Gary Jefferies, Sales and Marketing Director at Bynx (pictured), commented:
“Optimally managing vehicle maintenance (both preventative and corrective) is one of the keys to lowering fleet costs, adhering to compliance, securing vehicle availability, maximising residual values and keeping them in the best condition for resale.
“Bynx 12.13 delivers data granularity, fortified by the power of Oracle’s latest database technology. For fleet operators, this can be utilised in management strategies, such as fleet optimisation and right-sizing. For vehicle leasing and finance companies, service patterns can be built into full service operating lease quotations.
“It’s all about presenting the full picture of what the fleet is costing at any one time, while also maintaining an accurate record of asset value.”
The software update includes cost control support for HGV and other commercial fleets of assistance to fleets running vans, taxis, buses or trucks.
Bynx has strengthened the increase of model data on electric vehicles to provide fleet managers with a rich database of information. This, says Bynx, can be analysed and turned into valuable insight that will help manage the fleet mix optimally and in line with both business and environmental goals.
